The documentary series is dedicated to the combat history of the Black Sea Fleet in the period from 1941 to 1945 and tells about the struggle of the Black Sea Fleet from the beginning of the war in the USSR to the complete victory and storming of Vienna.

The film uses unique archival footage of newsreels that have not previously been shown. Visualization of little-known events, reflected with the help of computer graphics, makes the series interesting and understandable to the modern viewer.

Each episode shows a separate stage of hostilities in the Black Sea basin during the Great Patriotic War and reveals in detail the participation of the fleet in the most significant military operations.
